Establishment of Information and Research Center
(Organizing information on cultural and historical values, preparing resources for research, creating archives to pass on educational values to future generations)
According to various historians, Ethiopia is known to be one of the oldest civilizations in Africa in terms of cultural and historical values. The Gondar civilization, after the Axum and Zagwe civilizations, as well as the Shoa civilizations, is the birthplace of Ethiopian technology, and is called the rebirth of Ethiopia. These cultural values are not limited to the culture and experience of the kings and communities of the century, but also to the fact that they were capable of implementing technologies that are widely intertwined and intertwined with Asia, Europe and the Indian subcontinent.
These architectural and other architectural heritage are not limited to the monarchy and the high standard of living of the community; They are buildings that provide a wide range of services to people at all levels. Some of these public buildings can be seen in the construction of bridges, bridges, churches, and other structures.
It is worthwhile to collect the historical and historical artifacts that have supported Gondar and the Ethiopian economy in recent times through research, research and registration. This will be true of research, education and knowledge building for our country, our continent and the people of the world.
The historical and cultural heritages, combined with their numerous and overlapping social and economic limitations of our country, have been limited in the way in which they are protected and the way in which they are located, and as a result, the level of public awareness of the heritage has been limited. As a result, the lack of a forensic research center has made it impossible for data collectors and researchers to be satisfied. Therefore, it is important to establish a data center that can provide information to researchers and researchers as well as the community. It is believed that by working hard and coordinating the success of this project, it will be possible to alleviate the problems mentioned and fill one of the gaps in the implementation of heritage conservation and transmission to the next generation.
Accessibility of data collection and research center results can be summarized in a few of the following:
• Multi-sectoral intellectual input for early childhood and college education;
• Input for scientific, art, history, religion, technology, social values (art, architecture, science, literature, etc.);
• Proof of identity for citizens and the community:
• Economic contribution to tourism

Some of them were destroyed by the Sudanese Dervish, the Italians and also British bombs during Ethiopia’s liberation in World War II.
Debre Birhan Selassie Church.
At the end of the 17th century, a church was built at this location and destroyed. The church that can be seen now dates from the 1880s and is the only one to survive the Sudanese attacks. Twelve towers guard this building, each representing one of the 12 apostles. Do not miss its intricated ceilings of painted angels.
